That is, undoubtedly, the very last time I will be donning a costume for that particular holiday. Never mind the fact that that is far from being the first time I've sa-

As for the events of the evening, I think it's safe to say that clearly those working against us are still as incompetent as ever and really ought to think about rethinking what they've been wasting their time on.

Oh, were there pictures? Please tell me there were pictures

Do I come off as the type who would allow such a thing? And even if there were pictures, it's not as if someone like you would be seeing them. Therefore that question is moot.

I should imagine that there would be some way of getting copies of any photographs there could have been with out your knowledge...

So sorry for you, Black, but there is nothing from that night that will reach your grubby hands.

That is a right shame.

The very last time? Now that's just cruel. I'm sure there's going to be a great deal of pain and disappointment over this little pronouncement.

Private to Dorcas

Do you ever get the feeling we should be doing...something more?

So sorry to disappoint, Dearborn, but yes, the very last time. After a certain age it simply becomes pathetic.

In terms of our jobs...our lives...the Order...Specify, Caradoc.

Oh, I don't know. Some of the sanest people I've known seem to have enjoyed it well into their adult years.

[Dorcas]

I was thinking in terms of the Order and our jobs. I've been kicking around some ideas for keeping better track of the criminals our government decided to let back into England.

And if the younger Black tries to get his hands on any photographs I promise to burn them immediately.

I am not one of those people.

[Dearborn]

Care to share? Two minds are better than one, as they say...Unless it's two Gryffindors against a Ravenclaw. Then really, I don't think there's much of a contest.

It's moments like this when I remember why I have never tried to set your desk on fire. Thank you.

Not one of which people? The sane ones, or the ones who enjoyed Halloween even when they grew up?

[Dorcas}

Of course not it wouldn't. Wit beyond measure and all that.

I've been browsing through some of our pardoned "friends'" records over the past few days, to see if there are any habits or tendencies that we could use against them if it ever turned out to be necessary. I'm starting to wonder if maybe we should try and get permission from Dumbledore to start following a few of the more suspicious ones on their daily routing. Might help us prevent more unexpected disasters in the long run.

The latter of the two.

[Dearborn]

Precisely.

That's not a bad suggestion at all. The only flaw, of course, is finding people who can track them like. As much as I despise being in the office, tailing suspicious members of society doesn't exactly pay my disgustingly high rent. I do agree that something needs to be done, however.

So you say. I'm not entirely convinced.

[Dorcas]

I'm hoping to bring this up at the next Order meeting, and maybe draft some of the others into helping with it. I'll try and keep an eye open around the Ministry, but there's plenty of opportunities for that lot to sew mischief all around Britain.
